Really happy with the Stay was very easy to book and on arrival was met with a guy who gave me my room key with directions to it.. The room itself was very clean and with a tv, kettle with tea and coffee, an ensuit with a small shampoo and shower gel and bed was comfortable. Really happy with stay will be returning again.

Very weird way to get your room key. Although there's no actual reception there was a fellow guest who contacted the owners. We then had to confirm that we'd paid the £50 deposit we'd sent that was on top of our room price. Once that was done we were sent the code for an external Keysafe which held our room key. The room was clean, tidy and well furnished just unfortunately very cold due to the weather and also because the windows had been left open prior to our arrival.. The heating isn't independent therefore the room was really cold for most of our stay and the heating isn't on all the time. The extra blankets in the wardrobe were used which meant once in bed we were warm. However I didn't expect to freeze for the majority of my stay. The view from the room is great though and in the summer I'm sure the room temperature would be better.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights. My stay was wonderful. Great location next to beach. I am Muslim and the owners Smita and Andreas offered to make me a separate vegetarian breakfast every morning . They were so friendly and kind. We felt very welcome. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was the perfect temperature and there was a roof fan in the room as it was summer. I guess the only improvement I could suggest was maybe putting more soap in the bathroom as our soap was small and ran out fast and we didn’t get a replacement. I am sure if we asked they would have given us one. But I would definitely recommend staying here!!!

Always immaculate and spotlessly clean! Welcoming hotel on the seafront, just been for 5 years in a row. Owned and ran by a really lovely couple, bar is decently priced and there is always a nice relaxed atmosphere. Like pretty much all hotels everywhere in the UK that are over a few years old the walls are thin; if you want soundproofed rooms find a newer hotel. I felt safe being there and safe with the breakfast arrangements that are currently being followed. Cooked breakfast is always very nice!! I am including a photo of the cooked breakfast currently available minus my toast (Please note coffee in photo is from McDonald's not The Grand Hotel) I would be happy to visit again next week but next year will have to do

This was a lovely clean, hotel, with a stair lift to the first two floors. Rooms clean and spacious, bathroom a bit small and the shower was too hot for me to get under, plenty of hot water day and night. A well stocked bar, two nice dinning rooms, full English breakfast with yoghurt, toast, fruit juice and cereal bars. Not very good for dairy allergy, took my own cereals and soya milk and yoghurt which they were happy to store.
